I am presently working as a Scientist 'E' in the Botanical Survey of India (BSI), Central National Herbarium (CAL), Howrah. I did my Ph.D. on the 'Jewel orchid' subtribe Goodyerinae under the 'Flora of India' scheme of BSI. I have working experience in the revisionary studies of some selected groups/ taxa of plants belonging to the family Orchidaceae and Asteraceae. I also have keen interest in the Botanical Nomenclature, CITES, IUCN Red Listing and Molecular Systematics of plants.
